Yes...I agree. I really LIKED BJ...But....I have lost all respect for him as a person. I believe he will get a rematch, though.

i am with ya rob, but i still like bj. his jits is really good.i dont like trash talk either. I am glad he made a stink about the vasline because now the rule will be changed reguarding who handles it, put it in neutral hands ya know? did it make a difference in the fight that gsp was greased??? i dont think so.... but bj's guard sure did get cut like butter and one punch that rocks you can change the whole fight. was that punched only landed because of the grease????i hate that i have to ask myself that question cause gsp has worked really hard to improve in all areas. if the rules were in place we never would have to discuss it. I think the corner man that applied vasiline should have been punished. I just dont think that is something that is an acceptable mistake.

Alright...you guys are getting this thing moving! Yes, Mir is awesome...great combination of skill sets and such heart and charater! The way he was able to articulate his experiences, his demons, and how he managed to overcome the odds was phenomonal! True champiopnship charater.....
Which brings me to PENN. I to WAS very big BJ Fan...but not any longer. He displayed the charater of an ass in both his prefight comments, and his after fight remarks. I thought BJ was a noble individual.....a torch bearer of great hawaiian dignity and nobility. I was WRONG. He is gutter trash! Thats not my opinion....it is based on his actions.....I will never pay to watch him again...and I cant wait for Ken Flo to wipe his ass with BJ Penn!!!!!

congrads to him on his finishes @ GQ thats awsome. I have a been a huge mir fan since i was a teenager. its so hard to get sarcasim in type. and i am super excited to see the florian vs penn fight. hope bj comes to fight this time.

Oh please "mr. Neidi" I was just kidding about Mir being a sissy. I'm dissapointed I have to wait so long to see that fight. I'm glad to see him doing so well and out of his depression. And you "young man" will be happy to know that BJ will be fighting again soon, defending his title against Ken Flo in UFC 101. By the way, my husband and I were at Grappler's Quest too. Congratulations on your victory. He placed 1st in no gi and 3rd in gi.

vanguard of this movement??? gsp really examplifies this, his wrestling is olympic calibur , bjj black belt, great Kyokushin karate /thai boxing and he uses them all in conjunction with eachother better then most. i was bummed about the vasaline gate. its a real bummer that win could ever be questioned, because it was so absolute(this is coming from a huge baby jay penn fan)I think bj won the first one so in my mind they are 1-1 i would always like to see those two fight. i say they go best out of a hundred to see whos the best maybe bj wont show up fat to the next one........ and about mir being a sissy mrs.krail ?????!!! really !!! mir already tapped all 290 lbs. of lesnar and just knocked out big nog who has never been stop in his very decorated and accomplished career during which he fought fedor twice and fedor could only get a decision both times. if a two time ufc heavy weight champion, karate/bjj black belt says he needs a bit more time to rehab the knee surgery he just had before he fights a man that 2" taller and 40 lbs. heavier...... maybe its not that he's a sissy but just needs a little more time for his surgery to heal. before you call a bjj black belt a sissy you should have one of your own young lady :oP . read about his career Mir is a warrior.

I think BJ Penn was at the top of his game but fell hard after talking a lot of junk to GSP. But since GSP cheated by putting vaseline on his back, a rematch is in order. I still think talkin smack is not a great idea. Just show your skills in the octagon. I am very excited to see Chuck Lidell back in after a few knockouts and I know he's going to kick Shogun Rua's butt. Another interesting fight coming up is Brock Lesnar against Mir but that will be delayed since he's a sissy and needs more time to get ready. I also like Mike Brown and I'm seeing him make his way up.
